Only Murders In The Building

If you enjoy watching crime series “Only Murders In The Building” is the right tv show for you. This series was released on Disney+ at the end of August this year and it was immediately a great success. The story follows the events that take place in the Arconia, an old-fashioned building in the Upper West Side, New York. It all starts when an out of the ordinary event occurs: Tim Kono, a young resident who lived in the building, is found dead in his apartment. All the evidence gathered by the police suggests that Tim killed himself so for the law enforcement officers there is no reason to believe otherwise, but not everyone seems to agree on this decision. Three one-of-a-kind strangers, Charles, Oliver and Mabel who live in the residence and are very fond fans of true crime podcasts, sensed that there was something more going on. They found the circumstances under this apparent suicide unusual, so they decided to proceed with the investigation by themselves and try to uncover the thruth about Tim’s death. They all come from very different backgrounds, Charles is an actor at the end of his career, Oliver is a Brodway director with significant financial problems and Mabel is a young woman who lives in her aunt’s apartment inside the Arconia. The entire story develops around New York City and its unique citizens, we are taken through numerous people’s lives and each one has a particular trait that our main characters will put under the microscope in order to solve the mystery.  

The series is not merely a crime tv show but there is also a comical side to it and that’s what makes it stand out among all of the other crime fiction that we watch nowadays, the entertaining humor that pervades the whole programme won’t get you bored. Once you start watching it, you won’t be able to skip an episode, in each of them you’ll come across the most unimaginable plot twists that will keep you wondering what will happen next. The show also features famous actors such as Steve Martin who plays Charles, Martin Short who portrays Oliver and none other than Selena Gomez as Mabel. There’s a lot of chemistry between the co-stars which generates an exciting atmosphere throughout the show that will keep you on your toes at every moment. 

In conclusion “Only Murders In The Building'' is certainly a great show to watch with friends or family, the episodes last no longer than thirty minutes and they never appear monotonous, so if you are interested in the subject this is one of the best and most recent choices available.
